Security Analyst


Immediate Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors, to design and oversee multiple facets of the security program that meet the objectives of the business, including:
    • Information security and data loss prevention.
    • Security incident response process and practice.
    • Risk management and security policy.
    • Information security preparedness for external audits.
    • Employee security awareness and training.
  • Ensure the alignment, engagement, and support of stakeholders by building strong relationships and communicating appropriately with external customers, third party vendors, employees and senior management.
  • Define, document and maintain policies and processes by using industry standards like NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, PCI DSS and GDPR to guide continuous improvement of the security program and meet external audit requirements.
  • Establish and maintain the security posture for internal tools.
  • Support the procurement process of internal assets and tools including performing due diligence.
  • Create and maintain a process for employee access requests from an onboarding and offboarding perspective.
  • Respond to incoming vendor security questionnaires.
  • Assist with customer acquisitions and play a role in their continued success and satisfaction.
  • Support product security issues, help lead 3rd-party security assessment and provide security expertise to other teams and customers.

Long-term Responsibilities:

  • Continuously audit system configurations, processes, and production state while promoting and implementing security improvements.
  • Build relationships across the company while having empathy for the other team’s priorities and responsibilities.
  • Coordinate and direct employee-focused security awareness training through presentations and hands on exercises.
  • Act as liaison between Security and the other teams to ensure close collaboration.
  • Stay on top of the latest threats and trends that are relevant in order to keep all systems, endpoints, networks, and accounts secure.
  • Monitor for emerging products, technologies, and best practices in the industry.
  • Provide direction, monitor performance, motivate staff and building a positive working environment.
  • Promote AaDya in the industry. Deliver presentations and participate in discussions at conferences as a representative of AaDya. Publish articles in internal and/or external blogs, sites, or periodicals.
  • Attend recruiting events on behalf of AaDya to help find and hire talent.
